Frequently asked questions

1. Are there any age or weight restrictions for participation?

Yes, for safety reasons and due to the design of the equipment, participants must be at least 8 years old. As for weight, the minimum requirement is 80 pounds (36.3 kg) and the maximum weight allowed is 250 pounds (113 kg).

No, you don’t need a diving certification or be an expert swimmer for the Sea Trek part. The system is designed so that you can walk and breathe naturally underwater, just as you do on the surface. However, you must feel comfortable in the water. For the snorkeling part (which lasts 30 minutes), it is recommended that you have basic swimming skills.

We descend to a depth of 20 feet (approx. 6 meters). The descent is done gradually via a vertical ladder with 20 rungs, allowing you to get used to the pressure and the environment. Once at the bottom, you will walk along a path marked with handrails for your comfort.

Yes! One of the great advantages of the Sea Trek helmet is that your face and hair stay dry. You can wear your prescription glasses or contact lenses without any problems during the underwater walk.

The entire activity lasts approximately 2 hours. We transport you by boat from Bobby’s Marina to our platform. There, we divide the group into two: while one group snorkels for 30 minutes, the other enjoys a 30-minute Sea Trek walk, and then we switch.

Your safety comes first. This activity is not permitted for pregnant women or people with: asthma, heart conditions, epilepsy, claustrophobia, hypertension, hearing problems, vertigo, recent surgery, or back/neck injuries.

Unfortunately not. Due to the logistics of boarding the water taxi, transferring to the floating platform, and using the vertical ladder to enter the sea, wheelchairs, electric scooters, and walkers are not permitted.

Safety depends on sea conditions. If we have to cancel due to inclement weather (high waves or storms), we will offer you a change of date for your activity or a refund. If the cancellation is due to major “acts of nature” (extreme force majeure), tickets are non-refundable.

Our meeting point, offices, and water taxi departure point are located at Bobby’s Marina in Great Bay, Philipsburg. You must present your electronic confirmation upon arrival.

Yes. If you purchased a flexible date, you can cancel anytime. If you chose a specific date, you can cancel or change the date at no cost up to 24 hours before your arrival. Cancellations incur a 5% administrative fee, but date changes are free of charge.
